Break the chocolate into pieces and put into a heatproof bowl with the butter.
Bring a small pan of water to the boil and set the bowl of chocolate over it, making sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water. When the chocolate has melted, leave it to cool.
Separate the eggs into two bowls. Wisk the whites until they form soft peaks.
Add the sugar and whisk until the mixture is shiny and stiff.
Mix the melted chocolate into the yolks.

Divide into individual glasses and decorate with chopped nuts. Chill for 2 hours.
